bobby lashley – My Blog https://wrestlinghour.com Wed, 23 Feb 2022 15:33:22 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.7.1 WWE Superstar: Bobby Lashley https://wrestlinghour.com/wwe-superstar-bobby-lashley/ https://wrestlinghour.com/wwe-superstar-bobby-lashley/#respond Wed, 23 Feb 2022 15:33:22 +0000 https://sportspandora.com/?p=503 Looking for credentials? The dominant Bobby Lashley is a three-time wrestling national champion and a four-time wrestling All-American. He’s also a two-time Armed Forces Champion and took home the silver medal in the 2002 CISM World Championships, competing against the best of the rest of the world’s military.

Yet, for Lashley, all that was a precursor to training for WWE. First coming to the squared circle through WWE’s ECW brand, Lashley fought his way to becoming one of the final ECW Champions. After further honing his craft outside of WWE in the MMA world, Lashley made an explosive surprise return to Raw in 2018 and has been on a path of domination ever since.

Since his return, “The All-Mighty” has captured both Intercontinental and United States Championship gold and has risen to prominence as the Chief Hurt Officer of The Hurt Business, a faction formed alongside MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. Equipped with his unbreakable Hurt Lock, Lashley finally won the big one when he defeated an overmatched Miz to become the new WWE Champion on an episode of Raw in 2021.

The powerhouse has fended off multiple challenges from Drew McIntyre, and if The All Mighty and MVP are to be believed, Lashley might be WWE Champion for a very long time.

Bobby Lashley sidelined for months due to an injury https://wrestlinghour.com/bobby-lashley-sidelined-for-months-due-to-an-injury/ https://wrestlinghour.com/bobby-lashley-sidelined-for-months-due-to-an-injury/#respond Wed, 23 Feb 2022 15:13:15 +0000 https://sportspandora.com/?p=500 Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is out of action for several months due to a legitimate injury. In recent reports released, it is due to a shoulder injury during his match with Brock Lesnar at Royal rumble. Both superstars fought for the coveted prize on the line early this year in January.

Lately, Bobby Lashley has not been involved in any action since his match against Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble. At the Elimination Chamber, Lashley entered first in the chamber and had no involvement in the entire game.

An Untimely Injury

An untimely injury has also removed Lashley from the Wrestlemania picture. He is expected to return after months. After his exclusion from the Chamber, many speculated this could be just a move to sideline the superstar from the title picture. but it has been revealed that the injury is legitimate and the star is surely hurt.

Moving ahead, Lesnar will face Roman Reigns in a title vs title match where the winner takes all. Sports Pandora wishes a quick recovery to The All Mighty and hopes he returns to action soon. It will be interesting to see how things turn up for the top brasses in the industry. Absence of Lashley from the from the WrestleMania picture will take all the focus onto the Lesnar Vs Reigns match. There is a good posibility that Lashley might turn up at the main event and be a party spoiler for the beast Brock Lesnar.

Whatever may be the outcome, but for the WWE universe it is a season of surprises and shockers. The Main event so highly stacked that predicting an outcome is also a task. On other hand, one theory also suggest Paul Heyman might be a king maker in this whole process.

Bobby Lashley is “pushed to the side” when Brock Lesnar returns- Bully Ray https://wrestlinghour.com/bobby-lashley-is-pushed-to-the-side-when-brock-lesnar-returns-bully-ray/ https://wrestlinghour.com/bobby-lashley-is-pushed-to-the-side-when-brock-lesnar-returns-bully-ray/#respond Wed, 23 Feb 2022 14:44:44 +0000 https://sportspandora.com/?p=497 A lot of anticipations are made when Lesnar makes a return to the WWE. Many fans believe when a star with charisma like Lesnar returns many wrestlers are made to wait in line for their chance at glory.

In a recent interview Bully Ray, a WWE Hall of Famer expressed his views on how Lashley is being treated in recent times.

Bully Ray, on the Busted Open podcast, expressed his disappointment at how Bobby Lashley has been treated in WWE since the return of Brock Lesnar.

Bully Ray said “Give the champion his due. The champion should be coming out last. What’s the big deal if Brock Lesnar comes out first? I’m not saying put him out there second or third or fourth.”

He added “Bobby Lashley looks phenomenal, wrestles phenomenal – there’s a lot of great things Bobby Lashley does. But the minute Brock [Lesnar] steps back in the picture, Bobby gets pushed to the side on many fronts. Send him out last, give the champion his entrance, give him some pyro, give him some fanfare.”

Well, Bully ray doesn’t seem to be alone who’s against the nature of bookings in recent times. WWE fans and many experts have also expressed their disappointment on social media regarding the same.

Going forward, Lesnar will face WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania. The match will be a Title Vs Title, where the winner takes all.

Lashley is out of the current storylines due to an injury and is expected to remain on medical leave for at least 3 to 4 months.

Which match are you most looking forward to at this year’s Wrestlemania? The grandest show will be a 2-night event starting on 2nd April.
